Can you create a custom Collection for me?
We are very happy to create a package just for you based upon your wants and desires.
How many images do you take at a wedding event?
We average 100-200 images per hour. We edit and adjust each image for the optimum impact and quality.
When can I see my images?
Your images will be viewable in your online gallery in 2-3 weeks.
How can our guests see our photos?
We create a personal wedding image gallery online for family and friends from anywhere in the world to view and purchase images.
Will you travel off Island?
Yes. Travel to neighbor Islands is $400 for one photographer and $500 for two photographers for a one-day event.
Mainland or International travel include flight, rental car, accommodations and per diem of $100/day.
Are you published?
Our work has been featured in Pacific Weddings Magazine, Esquire London, Sports Illustrated Women, Outside Magazine, Men's Journal, Sports Illustrated, Inside Triathlon Magazine, Triathlete Magazine, Aloha Magazine, At Home Magazine to name a few.
What equipment do you use?
We shoot Canon 35mm professional digital cameras and an assortment of lenses ranging from 15mm fish-eye, 50mm macro to 200mm. We shoot with a photojournalistic / creative style that is unobtrusive and mobile.
How do I go about making an album?
View your images online. Place your favorites in a folder and email me to let me know you are ready for a custom album design. We will start creating, and put the design online for your review and approval or changes. It's that easy!
Do you have a choice of albums?
We have a variety of fine album binders to choose from, most are not available to non-professionals. Matted and Coffee table style albums with covers of leather, silk and woods and metals are available. We can send you links to our favorite album websites for you to explore the possibilities.
How long does it take to receive my album?
When you have decided on album materials and colors and approved your album design, your Custom Wedding Album can take 6-12 weeks to complete.
How do we secure you as our photographers?
When you have decided you would like us to hold the date for you, and we have discussed the fine details of your event, we will prepare a contract to sign and return with a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 the total amount.
How do we make payment to you?
We accept cash, check and credit cards via e-invoice to make your payment right online. There is an added 2.9% processing fee for credit card transactions.
What if your rates change?
You lock into any rate the day you book your event.
Are there any hidden costs?
Hawaii Excise tax of 4.17% is charged for goods and services and Shipping costs.
Shipping of album(s) and large prints, and any shipping internationally.
What does it cost to have family portraits?
Please fill out the inquiry form or contact us for prices. We have rates for different sized groups and locations in Kona and beaches locations up the coast.
How many photos do you take?
We take posed and candid photos of families. Families walking and playing on the beach, spending quality time together and interacting make great images. Posed images include can include various group combinations, starting with the whole family group. Fun groups include grandparents with the grand children, with their own children, individual family groups, couples, individuals, etc. You decide your preference. We average 100 images per hour.
What do your sessions include?
The photography session itself and the images in an online gallery to view and order.
Can I purchase High Resolution Digital Negatives of my family?
Yes. Price varies based on the amount of images included and the type of session you choose.
Any clothing suggestions?
Clients often ask me this. My answer is, "Be comfortable and don't wear colors or prints that clash with each other". Blue jeans and white shirts and blouses are popular dress. Tan and white, shades of blue or green are all good. Wearing white shirts and blouses are best at sunset and not a morning session as sunlight is reflected and can cause sensitive eyes to squint.

There are bound books available from the personal website we create for you that feature one image per page. There is also the option to have a custom montage coffee table album designed as well as elaborate Matted and Coffee table style albums with covers of leather, silk and woods and metals are available. We can send you links to our favorite album websites for you to explore the possibilities.
How long does it take to receive my album?
When you have decided on album materials and colors and approved your album design, your Custom Wedding Album will take 3 to 12 weeks to complete depending on the binder.
How do we secure you as our photographers?
When you have decided you would like us to hold the date for you, and we have discussed the fine details of your event, we will prepare a contract to sign and return with a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 the total amount.

What's included?
Sessions Include up to three outfits, online viewing and ordering, a yearbook image (upon request), and a cd or download with low resolution (non-printable) images for your facebook page.

This session documents who they are at this pivotal point in their lives. They should dress in clothing they feel represents who they are, that they feel good about themselves in.
